New Blog Coming

I’ve been playing around with the idea of starting a blog dedicated to personal finance. I realized the other day, my business and finance thought process differs from the average person. I’m not sure where this aptitude came from. Yes, I spent my college years in business school and I enjoy reading business books (I [...]

Covered…

I just got off the phone with my insurance company. The claim on our Sentra is going to be covered under our uninsured motorist coverage. We won’t have to pay a deductable to repair the damage. The insurance agent said using your uninsured motorist coverage normally raises your premiums. We have some gold package on [...]

Hit and Run.

Our Nissan Sentra was hit last night while parked along side a residential street in Normandy Park. This morning Salli got an $1,800 quote from a body shop. We will be running this claim through insurance but it will still cost the $500 deductable. It would be nice if would people take responsibility for their [...]

Christmas Ruined?

Christmas was not completely ruined. It snowed in Arlington on Christmas Eve making it impossible for my Mom and Step Dad to come down for Christmas brunch. Luckily the snow melted enough yesterday that they are coming today for brunch. It turned out my brother in-law was feeling better. We were able to go over [...]

My Mom and step dad will be coming by tomorrow morning for a Christmas brunch baring any weather [...]

Clean Driveway

Shoveled the driveway today.  It turned out to be much more snow than it looked like.  5 to 6 inches of snow covered the entire driveway. Now may back is sore and I am tired.  I got a little too ambitious. I think it is time for bed. Share and Enjoy:

Snow Day

It’s been snowing on and off for the last 5 days. In total we have between 6 – 8 inches of snow at our house. My Mom’s house in Arlington has around 24 inches of snow. This is the most snow I have seen around Seattle. Seattle always has issues with snow because we are [...]

It’s Friday!

It’s Friday! I have a bunch of meetings today but I think I should be able to get off work early. I have a meet and greet at The Parlor with some guys from Citrix. The Parlor is a pool hall / bar in Bellevue. I hope that will be a good end to the [...]
