September 2014 Summary

In September I ran a total of 193 miles at an average pace of 9:01 min/mile.  My mileage for September was nearly 40 miles more than my August mileage. I can tell I’m still getting stronger and my endurance is improving. I’m really happy to see my average pace dropping. Hopefully my average pace for October is sub 9 minute pace.

So far this year I’ve run over 650 miles. It was a slow start (January and February were under 18 miles for the month). But the last several months my running has really improved. I’m now running 6 days a week and I’m able to recover much quicker. If I can maintain my current mileage I should pass 1000 miles by December.

I began programming in C++ when I was in college. Odd for a business major, but hey I am a Dork. After college I got a job as System Administrator. As a System Administrator I was in charge of web administration. My journey as a PHP web developer had begun. Since that time I have gained an in depth knowledge of CSS, Javascript, XML and MySQL. With changes and advances to technology I have also began learning AJAX. I started Blue Fire Development to do freelance work in my spare time.
