Hunter’s First 5 Days

Wow… It’s been crazy these last 5 days. The morning of October 15th at 8:30am Salli called to tell me her water broke and to get home ASAP. Once I made it home we gathered our stuff and headed to Valley Hospital. After 22 hours filled with blood, sweat, and tears Hunter made his dramatic appearance. He was born on October 16th 2009 at 6:29 am weighing 6lbs 12oz and 19 inches long.

Since the 16th we have attempted to find a routine that accommodates our new addition, in a sleep deprived state. So far we’ve had our first pediatrician appointment, and our first shopping trip with Hunter. It’s been a wild ride already and we have many more years still to come.

I began programming in C++ when I was in college. Odd for a business major, but hey I am a Dork. After college I got a job as System Administrator. As a System Administrator I was in charge of web administration. My journey as a PHP web developer had begun. Since that time I have gained an in depth knowledge of CSS, Javascript, XML and MySQL. With changes and advances to technology I have also began learning AJAX. I started Blue Fire Development to do freelance work in my spare time.
