Finished Reading the First Patient

Finished reading The First Patient by Michael Palmer. The First Patient pits a country doctor, Dr. Gabe Singleton, against a conspiracy to kill the President and old friend, Andrew Stoddard. Dr. Singleton is brought to Washington, D.C., from Wyoming when Jim Ferendelli, Stoddard’s former doctor, goes missing. Immediately, everything fall apart as Stoddard suffers from random episodes of incoherence, and Singleton is shot at while driving in early morning D.C. traffic. Singleton needs to figure out who’s behind the president’s mysterious illness, investigating everyone.

The plot for The First Patient is farfetched but very entertaining. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast engaging book to read. If you like to dissect plots and find all the holes this book may not be for you.

The First Patient

I began programming in C++ when I was in college. Odd for a business major, but hey I am a Dork. After college I got a job as System Administrator. As a System Administrator I was in charge of web administration. My journey as a PHP web developer had begun. Since that time I have gained an in depth knowledge of CSS, Javascript, XML and MySQL. With changes and advances to technology I have also began learning AJAX. I started Blue Fire Development to do freelance work in my spare time.
