Finished Reading The Hero of Ages

Finished reading The Hero of Ages (Mistborn, Book 3) by Brandon Sanderson. The Hero of Ages is the final book in the Mistborn Series. This book takes place after The Well of Ascension when they are tricked into releasing the evil spirit Ruin while attempting to close the Well of Ascension. The new emperor Elend Venture and his wife, the assassin Vin, are now hard-pressed to save the world from Ruin’s deadly Inquisitors, and the lethal mists called the Deepness. All the while increasingly heavy falls of black ash that threaten to bury the land and starve the planet. As the two search for the Lord Rulers cache of atium, source of the strongest Mistborn power, they battle Ruin’s forces as well as monsters and prophetic powers.

The Hero of Ages is a must read if you enjoyed the other two books in the series. This book is a great end to the series. I’m a little disappointed that I the series is over, I really began to enjoy the plot and characters. I wouldn’t mind if another book in this series came out.
