Finished Reading The Devil’s Eye

Finished reading The Devil’s Eye by Jack McDevitt. The Devil’s Eye is about Alex Benedict and his pilot companion Chase Kolpath. The book takes place when famous horror writer Vicki Greene leaves antiquities dealer Alex a desperate message. While Alex and Chase investigate Vicki Greene’s message they discover that Greene has voluntarily had her memory erased. The two follow clues that lead them to the end of the galaxy where Vicki was research her new novel. After uncovering the secret that caused Greene to erase her memory, Alex and Chase are kidnapped by the bureaucrats trying to keep the secret under wraps.

I don’t normally read sci-fi books. Not sure why I don’t read sci-fi, I really enjoyed this book. The writing is well done and the plot is captivating through out the duration of the book.
