Windows 7 Install
I installed Windows 7 on my work laptop. I have been hearing a lot of good stuff about Windows 7 and I had to try it out. I haven’t played with Windows 7 a lot yet, but so far I really like it. The UI feels quicker than on Vista. I noticed several small improvements in the UI. I like the new task bar. The abilty to pin things to the tasks bar is awesome. Aero feels quicker and lighter weight. I turned Aero off on Vista because it slowed down the laptop. It looks like I will be able to keep Aero running with Windows 7.
I will post again when I have a better idea of how I like Windows 7.
