is the sequel to Twilight
. This book continues with Bella and the Edward’s love affair. An accident causes the Cullens to leave Forks in fear for Bella’s life. Bella is inconsolable until she realizes that reckless behavior allows her to hear Edward’s voice. To keep him close Bella gets a taste for reckless behavior. During one of Bella’s attempts to keep Edward close she develops a close friendship with Jacob. The suspense missed by the lack of vampires is filled by a pack of werewolves bent on protecting Bella from a vindictive vampire.
Like the first book I found the middle of the book dragged. The end of the book was not much better. Overall the book was an entertaining quick read. I’m interested to see if a movie is made from this book.
